Star Scorpio will introduce a series of cruises with Singapore as the homeport. For her maiden voyage, she will depart from the Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC) on 26 March 2025 with a series of voyages that will continue until 21 July 2025. Booking Terms and Conditions
- This contract of carriage is subject to the terms and conditions of carriage of the Carrier and the attention of Guest traveling on Dream Cruises vessels is drawn to the Terms and Conditions of the Guest Ticket Contract ("the Passage Contract") which constitutes the terms of the contract for carriage and is a legally binding contract between Dream Cruises and the Guest. Copies of the Passage Contract can be obtained from appointed travel agents , Resorts World Cruises’ offices or on Resorts World Cruises' website at www.rwcruises.com. The attention of Guest is especially directed to the Athens Convention (Convention Relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea (1974)) as amended by the Protocol on 19 November 1976 ("the Athens Convention") which has been incorporated in the Passage Contract and Clauses 2 and 5e of the Passage Contract which contains important limitations on the rights of Guest to assert claims against the Carrier, Owner, Operator, the Vessel, their agents and employees and others. The following is a summary of certain important clauses in the Passage Contract and is not exhaustive.
- FOR THE SAFETY AND COMFORT OF OUR PASSENGERS AND CREW, RESORTS WORLD CRUISES RESERVES ITS ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO ALTER, SHORTEN, LENGTHEN OR CANCEL THE CRUISE AND/OR ANY PART OF THE ADVERTISED SCHEDULE AT ANY TIME, WHETHER PRIOR TO OR AFTER THE DEPARTURE OF THE CRUISE AND BY REASON OF AN EVENT OF FORCE MAJEURE (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITION, ACCIDENT AND OTHER ACTS OF GOD) OR OTHERWISE. DREAM CRUISES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER TO THE PASSENGERS FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM OR CAUSED BY SUCH CHANGE SAVE AND EXCEPT THAT THE SAID LOSS OR DAMAGE IS CAUSED SOLELY AND DIRECTLY BY GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR FAULT OF DREAM CRUISES WHICH SHALL BE SUBJECT TO LIMITATION OF LIABILITY PROVISIONS SET OUT IN THE PASSAGE CONTRACT.
- Resorts World Cruises reserves the right to alter the Fare specified at the time of reservation and impose a surcharge upon the Fare in order to take into account any increase in the cost of transportation, taxes, fuel charges, or accommodation or extra cost due to the exchange rate changes, subject to the Passage Contract.
- Money paid to the appointed agency or other third party is held on the Guest's behalf until such time as it is paid to Resorts World Cruises.
- Where the Athens Convention applies, Resorts World Cruises' liability for the death of or personal injury to a Guest shall not exceed 46,666 Special Drawing Rights ("SDR") and Resorts World Cruises' liability for cabin luggage shall not exceed 833 SDR. In case if the Athens Convention does not apply, Resorts World Cruises’ liability in the case of death of or personal injury to a Guest shall not exceed the sum of US$70,000 per Guest including (without limitation) medical costs, disability compensation whatsoever, and in the case of loss of or damage to property, the sum of US$300/- per Guest, or US$5/- per kilogram of the item lost or damaged or US$75/- per bag or piece of luggage, whichever is lowest.
- Resorts World Cruises recommends that the Guest obtains the Guest’s own insurance protection against loss or damage to baggage and personal effects, trip cancellation and emergency evacuations, accident death or injury, illness and medical expenses sustained or incurred in connection with the Cruise.
- The Guest and Resorts World Cruises do here by irrevocably agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Passage Contract or the transportation and services provided or to be provided by Resorts World Cruises in respect of the Passage Contract shall be determined by the Courts in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and shall be governed by the Laws of the Singapore Special Administrative Region. For the avoidance of doubt, “Resorts World Cruises” here shall mean Resorts World Cruises Management Limited, its direct and indirect holdings companies, subsidiaries and affiliates.
- GUEST SHALL HAVE AVAILABLE FOR PRODUCTION ALL PROPER AND NECESSARY TRAVEL DOCUMENTS SUCH AS VISAS AND OTHER IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTS (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING APPLICABLE EXAMPLES: PASSPORT, ORIGINAL PHOTO ID/DRIVER’S LICENSE, BIRTH CERTIFICATES FOR CHILD BELOW 12 YEARS OLD). NO REFUND OF FARE OR COMPENSATION WILL BE MADE TO GUESTS WHO ARE DENIED EMBARKATION RESULTING FROM NON-COMPLIANCE WITH IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS.
- The Immigration Authorities from all Ports of Call require Resorts World Cruises to submit full passport/identity card details of the Guests (i.e. full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport/identity card number and expiry date) 5 days prior to the cruise's departure date. Failure to provide this information will result in inconveniences such as delayed departures and embarkation.
- Guest who is pregnant shall disclose her pregnancy and the stage thereof to the Carrier at the time of reservation of passage. Guest who is in or over twenty-four (24) weeks of her pregnancy shall be prohibited from traveling onboard.
- Children aged 6 months or less at the commencement of the Cruise will be refused permission to board the Vessel and the Carrier shall have no liability whatsoever for any consequences of such refusal. Certain Cruises also have prohibitions on children aged 12 months or less. Guest should check with the Carrier before booking.
- GUEST ACKNOWLEDGES THAT MEDICAL CARE ON A CRUISE SHIP MAY BE LIMITED OR DELAYED AND THE SHIP MAY TRAVEL TO DESTINATIONS WHERE MEDICAL CARE IS LIMITED OR UNAVAILABLE, AND THAT THE SHIP MAY OR MAY NOT CARRY A SHIP’S PHYSICIAN OR OTHER MEDICAL PERSONNEL AT THE ELECTION OF RESORTS WORLD CRUISES. THEREFORE, EVERY GUEST WARRANTS THAT THE GUEST AND ANY PERSON IN GUEST’S CARE/RESPONSIBILITY SHALL BE PHYSICALLY FIT TO TAKE THE CRUISE AT THE TIME OF EMBARKATION. WHILE EVERY REASONABLE CARE IS TAKEN TO PROVIDE ATTENTION TO THE GUESTS ONBOARD, SUCH MEDICAL ATTENTION AND/OR FACILITY FOUND ONBOARD CANNOT BE CONSIDERED AS FULL MEDICAL FACILITIES AS FOUND IN A GENERAL HOSPITAL. THE MEDICAL FACILITIES ARE PROVIDED AS AN EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID FUNCTION ONLY.
- GUEST WITH ANY PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY, MOBILITY PROBLEM, OTHER MEDICAL CONDITION OR HANDICAP WHICH MAY REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE, TREATMENT OR ASSISTANCE DURING THE VOYAGE MUST REPORT TO RESORTS WORLD CRUISES IN WRITING WHEN THE RESERVATION IS MADE OR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER THE GUEST BECOMES AWARE OF SUCH 3 / 5 CONDITION. RESORTS WORLD CRUISES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REVOKE PASSAGE TO, OR CANCEL THE RESERVATION OF, ANY GUEST WHO FAILS TO NOTIFY THE SAME. RESORTS WORLD CRUISES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY IN RESPECT OF ANY REFUSAL TO ALLOW BOARDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PROVISION.
- Guests are strictly prohibited from bringing any alcohol, alcoholic drinks, intoxicating liquor, or beverages onboard the ship.
- All heating devices such as iron, cooking plate, water heater, etc. are strictly prohibited onboard the Vessel.
- Guest shall keep his access card safely during the cruise, as the card will be required upon embarking and disembarking at ports and shall be presented in order to collect passport on arrival at the final destination.
- Guest may visit Resorts World Cruises' website at www.rwcruises.com for the amendment policy and cancellation policy issued by Resorts World Cruises from time to time.
- Guest are required to check in at Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Marina Coastal Drive #01-01, Singapore 018947, All baggage will be checked by x-ray at the embarkation entrance. City Check-in is available 2 days before the cruise departure date at Genting Centre (3 Lim Teck Kim Road, #01-05 Genting Centre, Singapore 088934). No City Check-in is available on Sundays and Public Holidays. Passport and valid travel documents (for example, work permit, visas or other documents) are required for City Check-in. Due to security reason, baggage will NOT be accepted during City Check-in. - The operational hours are as follows: Monday & Tuesday & Thursday - 10:00am to 2:00pm & 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday & Friday - 10:00am to 2:00pm Saturday - 10:00am to 1:00pm - Please calculate the day of City Check-in according to the cruise departure day: Sunday departure - Friday & Saturday Tuesday departure – Monday Wednesday departure – Monday & Tuesday Friday departure - Wednesday & Thursday
- Resorts World Cruises will impose a gratuity of SGD21 per person per night on the Guests of all cabin categories except suite, penthouse and villa; and SGD26 per person per night on the Guests of suite, penthouse and villa. Such charges will be waived for infants below 2 years old (but not include 2 years old). If the Guest has not prepaid the gratuities, the gratuities will be automatically added to the Guest’s onboard account which shall be payable prior to disembarkation
- All Guests shall make sure that they possess valid travel document and fulfill the visa requirements. Its passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all travel documents and visa are in order prior to departure. All traveling document must have at least 6 months validity from date of sailing.
- This reservation has been accepted by Resorts World Cruises subject to Resorts World Cruises’ terms and conditions which can be obtained from appointed travel agents,
- Resorts World Cruises’ offices or on Resort World Cruises’ website at www.rwcruises.com. As a precautionary measure, management of Dream Cruises reserves the right to refuse passage and/or cancel any reservation made by any guest for public health risk without any liability whatsoever
- Weather or itinerary changes may alter this schedule. Dream Cruises reserves the right to amend itineraries slightly without notification.
- NO REFUND will be made to passengers denied embarkation for non-compliance of immigration requirements

Amendment Policy (for all cabin types)
(a) Every amendment will be subject to an amendment fee of SGD30 / USD20 (or its equivalent).
(b) Such amendments include the following; -
● Change of passenger name - amendment fee charge per name change; and at least one
original name remains unchanged within each cabin. Otherwise, subject to cancellation
charges for all name changes.
● Swap of passenger names (inter cabins) - amendment fee charge per name swapped.
(c) Amendment fee waived for the following, however prevailing rates apply for the changes
● Add on additional passengers within the same cabin, prevailing rate applies.
● For any split-of f to a new cabin, the new cabin booking is at prevailing rate.
● Upgrading of cabin to a higher category on in the same sailing, dif ference between original and
prevailing rate will be charged
● Upsell of itinerary provided original departure date remains unchanged (e.g., f rom 2N itinerary
to 7N), dif ference between original and prevailing rate will be charged
(d) Cancellation fee will be imposed for the following and the new booking will be subject to prevailing
rate.
● Total change of passenger names (when all passengers’ names within a cabin require
change)
● Change of sailing date
● Downgrading of cabins category (f rom higher category to lower category)
● Change of vessel (if applicable)
● Downgrade of itinerary (e.g. From 3-night to 2-night)
Notes :
a) 100% of full cabin fare will be levied as cancellation charges in case of sailing during special holiday
season (Peak Season)
b) Any amendment imposed by the Reservation Of f ice to the booking, the amendment fee will be waived.
c) Amendment fees are applicable to those amendment requests made by guests or Sales agents.
d) Amendment fees are applicable to those amendment requests, which have been received not less
than 5 calendar days prior to the departure date. Any amendment request received 4 calendar days or
less prior to departure, 100% of full cabin fare as cancellation charges will be levied.
e) Amendment requests must be made in writing (email) to the Reservations Of f ice and shall be ef fective
only upon actual receipt by the Reservations Of f ice. The Sales Agent is reminded to conf irm in writing
any amendment request made by telephone in order to avoid disputes.
f ) The Sales Agent is required to notify its customers of the Reservation Of f ice’s amendment fees above.
Failure to do so will render the Sales Agent liable for any claims or compensation arising f rom disputes
in the amendment fees levied.

If the Guest has not prepaid the gratuities, the gratuities will be automatically added to the Guest’s onboard account which shall be payable prior to disembarkation
REFUSAL OF PASSAGE - Pregnancy Policy
Without limiting the generality of the above, and subject to the Clauses herein, Guest who is pregnant shall disclose her pregnancy and the stage thereof to the Carrier at the time of reservation of passage. Guest who is in or over twenty-four (24) weeks of her pregnancy shall be prohibited from traveling onboard. All expectant Guests agree to provide the Carrier, on demand, prior to embarkation, with a physician's statement verifying that her gestational status is in accordance with these terms and conditions and certifying her fitness to travel even if she will be less than twenty-four (24) completed weeks pregnant upon disembarkation. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the Guest's reservation without refund, compensation or payment except as set forth in the Carrier's cancellation policy described in Clause 9, based on the timing of such cancellation.
Minor Accompany
A Guest under 18 years of age (“Minor”) must be accompanied by a Guest 18 years or older (“Accompanying Adult”). The Accompanying Adult expressly agrees to be responsible for the safety, conduct and behavior of the Minor throughout the Cruise; for night Cruise, the Accompanying Adult must occupy either the same stateroom as the Minor or a stateroom connecting with the Minor’s stateroom. The Accompanying Adult’s responsibility includes, but is not limited to, preventing the purchase or consumption of alcohol by the Minor, preventing the engagement in any form of gambling on board the Vessel by the Minor, ensuring compliance with and preventing the violation of any ship rules by the Minor and indemnifying Carrier in respect of all liabilities and amounts payable in respect of the Minor in accordance with this Passage Contract. If the Accompanying Adult is not the parent or legal guardian of the Minor then either a certified copy of the marriage certificate of the Accompanying Adult and Minor or a notarized parental/guardian's consent letter that authorizes the Minor’s travel and medical treatment of the Minor in case of an emergency must be delivered either to the representative at the pier or the Front Desk Officer of the Carrier. Failure to produce such documentation at embarkation may result in boarding being denied with no refund or compensation provided. Guests must be 18 years or older to purchase or consume alcohol or to engage in any form of gambling on the Vessel.

1. What should I get prepared for cruise vacation?

2. What’s Included In My Cruise Fare?
Just about everything – your accommodation, meals in designated outlets, entertainment, parties, gala dinner, facilities and many onboard activities are all part of the fare.
3. What’s Not Included In My Cruise Fare?
Optional shore excursions, alternative dining, selected shows / entertainment, items of personal nature such as beverages, telephone calls, facsimile or e-mail services, shop purchases, laundry, beauty treatment, hairdressing and massage services, medical services, port charges, fuel charges, insurance, government taxes, fee and gratuities are not included in the fare.
4. Passage Restrictions (For pregnant woman)
Passage for a pregnant woman will only be permitted before her 24th week of pregnancy at the time of sailing. Children aged 6 months or less at the commencement of the cruise will be refused permission to board the cruise ship.
5. Any Vaccination required?
At the current time, all passenger regardless the vaccination status can travel on board cruise. However, unvaccinated passenger aged 13 and above required to have RTK Test report within 2 days before cruising. However, guests may wish to consult their doctor to make sure their immunization records are up-to-date or if any further vaccinations are required in those countries that are in their cruise itinerary.
6. Is there a dress code?
Smart casual attire is suitable for most occasions. For your dining pleasure as well as for other guests, elegant casual attire is required during dinner at fine dining restaurants such as Genting Dining Room onboard Genting Dream.
7. What Currency are we using?
Most foreign currencies are accepted onboard at prevailing exchange rates. The onboard currency will be that of the Homeport country where the ship is based (e.g. Singapore dollars for cruises out of Singapore, Hong Kong dollars for cruises out of Hong Kong). Most major credit cards (Visa / Master / JCB / Amex / Diners) are accepted.
8. Do I pay every time I spend on board?
No. It’s cashless system on board. Your Access Card functions as a charge card and stateroom key onboard our vessels.
You will be able to use this card onboard when you order any of food and beverage and service outlets as cash is not accepted in any of our outlets.
Please ensure that you sign your name at the back of the card as a verification for Cruise Company and present it to their Service crew when you want to settle your bill.
There is an initial credit limit for your Access Card which may be increased by presenting your credit card for verification at the reception.
Major credit cards (Visa / Master / JCB / Amex / Diners) are accepted with a specified floor limit.
9. How can I control my children spending?
Should you wish to limit or bar the use of your children’s Access Cards for purchases, please have them re-encoded at the reception.
Otherwise, your children may sign for any facilities or purchases, and you will be liable for those charges.
10. What should I do if I lost my access card?
Please report the loss of your Access Card immediately to the reception where a new one will be issued and the former invalidated.
This will prevent any liability for charges incurred on the lost card.
11. Is there any penalty if I lost my access card?
No. The replacement card is free of charged.
12. Physically Challenged Guests
Most areas onboard our vessels are accessible to the physically challenged. There are also cabins for the physically challenged, with wider doorways and larger bathrooms with grab bars and folding shower seats. The ship also provides wheelchairs for emergency purposes.
13. Luggage
For your comfort and convenience, we recommend that each guest take no more than one suitcase and one hand baggage. These must fit comfortably in your cabin as no baggage will be stored in the ship’s hold. Your total baggage weight should not be more than 30kg.
Check-in baggage will be delivered to the respective cabins no later than 60 minutes after sailing. Guests who do not receive the luggage by this time may contact the Concierge onboard.
14. Embarkation Process
14.1 Waiting to check-in
While waiting to check-in, Cruise Staff will check passengers’ passport for validity and visas (if required) as a pre-check-in procedure to expedite the check-in process.
14.2 How to Check in
Please present your passport / government photo ID (MyCard/Mykid) and Confirmation Slip at the counter where you will be given an Access Card. Your Access Card is important as it serves as a boarding pass, cabin key and charge card onboard. Upon receipt of your Access Card, you should sign it immediately like any credit card. Have the relevant immigration forms completed together with your passport during check-in.
14.3 Baggage Check In
Check-in baggage at the counter (please check with Star Cruise Staff if you are not sure the location) and baggage will be delivered to the respective cabins no later than 60 minutes after sailing. Guests who do not receive the luggage by this time may contact the Concierge onboard.
14.4 Boarding
Guests will need to pass through security screening and present their Access card prior to boarding. Those cruising with children may hold their Access Cards on their behalf. As embarkation procedures may change and vary from port to port please follow the directions of the crew and signage to embark the ship.
Upon entering the ship please hand your Access Card to the crew to ‘swipe’ and ‘encode’ your cabin details and record your presence onboard. Please do not walk through without ‘encoding’ as you will not be able to gain access to your cabin. Remember to swipe your access card whenever you leave or enter the ship.

15.2 Is Cellular@Sea Service available in port?
The Cellular@Sea service will automatically shut down when a ship is entering port, and turn on when the ship is at least 12 nautical miles at sea. When connected to Cellular@Sea, GSM phones will either display “WMS”, “CellularAtSea”, “908.18″ or “Nor-18″.
15.3. Cellular Phone Service & Texting at Sea
Freestyle Cellular Service Star Cruises guests can make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, read emails and surf the web on their own cell phones and mobile devices just as they do on land when the ship is at sea, thanks to Wireless Maritime Services’ Cellular@Sea Service. Just check with your cellular phone carrier that your cell phone will be able to roam internationally. Keeping in touch with your friends and family, while at sea, has never been easier.
15.4. How much will I be charged when I use my cell phone onboard?
The rates vary according to your cellular phone carrier and the pricing /roaming plan which you have established with them directly. The charges incurred will appear on your normal mobile carrier’s bill you receive at home. For more information on exact pricing contact your carrier or visit their webpage.
15.5. Can my family call me onboard?
Yes, Cruises guests can also be contacted on our ships by calling the guest’s cell phone number. The service works just as it does on land. If the party does not answer, a voice message can be left on the phone and later retrieved by the guest.

17. Dining
You can enjoy up to 6 meals a day which are included in the cruise package at the main dining restaurants, a fully certified ‘Halal’ outlet on Genting Dream at Lido restaurant.Please present your Access Card when entering any restaurant for verification purposes.
Our restaurants have ample seating to accommodate all guests over the dining periods. However, to avoid any congestion, you may wish to eat earlier or later during the meal period. There is a nominal corkage charge if you bring your own alcoholic beverage to any of the dining outlets.
18. Electrical Outlets*
Power outlets in the cabins provide 110V or 220V power with 2-pin and 3-pin sockets. Bathroom power points provide both 110V and 220V power and travel adaptors are available from Housekeeping. *Power outlets vary from vessel to vessel.
19. Entertainment
A wide spectrum of entertainment which includes exciting live cabaret shows, discotheques, karaoke and card rooms, video games, organized activities and deck games are available onboard.
20. Dinner
Guests are advised to book early (first day on board) for their dinner seating in their choice of restaurant to avoid disappointment; it’s base on first come first serve.
21. Language
Onboard Cruise multi-lingual crew hail from over 40 nations and all of them speak English. But you will almost certainly find someone who will be more than happy to chat with you in your own language.
22. Laundry
There is complete laundry and valet services available onboard at a nominal charge.
23. Medical Facilities
In the event of minor accidents, inconveniences and emergencies while at sea, there is a fully qualified physician and a team of nurses onboard to assist. The clinic is open daily at posted hours. Emergency medical attention is available around the clock by contacting the reception. Basic medicine with your doctor’s prescription is also available. Sick sea medicine is also available at no charge at the reception counter.
24. Recreation
Guests will enjoy truly pursuits from the active workout at the gym or a game of basketball to something more relaxed like the jaccuzi ,pool and sauna
25. Safe Deposit Box
Safe deposit boxes are available free of charge in some cabins and at the Reception.
26. Shopping Onboard
You may purchase most items ranging from luxury duty-free items and souvenirs to daily necessities like sunscreen and toiletries at outlets like the Ports O’Call* and Duty Free Boutique*.

27. Shore Excursions
Cruise crew at the Reception or our Shore Excursion Counter will be happy to explain the different options available at each port of call. You may join one of our pre-arranged tours or opt for free and easy on your own. As seats per tour are limited it is best to pre-book your shore excursion For shore visits, casual wear and comfortable walking shoes or sandals are recommended while suitable beachwear are ideal for island excursions. (Skimpy beachwear is inappropriate in Muslim countries). Bring sports or gym attire if you are planning to play golf, tennis or workout. During shore visits, however, it is wise to avoid consuming tap water or drinks with ice from street vendors.
28. Smoking
Smoking is permitted on open decks and at designated public areas only.
29. Star Navigator
The Star Navigator is a daily bulletin that takes you through entertainment, dining and other activities onboard.
30. Swimming pool
For safety reasons, please do not leave your child unattended and guests are advised to take additional precautions while swimming. As towels are available provided at the poolside, please refrain from bring any from the cabin.
The use of the swimming pools and Jacuzzis are for adults and teenagers over the age of 12 years only while there are also children’s swimming pools and Jacuzzis on certain vessels. All users of the pools and Jacuzzis must wear proper swimming attire.
31. Tipping/Gratuities
Gratuities to be pay on board . Gratuities will be recorded directly in the personal access card and in the bill. Passengers are required to pay the gratuities at reception desk of the on or before the day of departure.
32. Telephone Calls / Facsimile / E-mail
There is a charge for using the satellite network for telephone and facsimile services or e-mail. You may call from the Reception or dial direct from your cabin. There are instructions in all cabins.
Alternatively, you may contact Cruise operator for assistance.
33. Water
The water onboard is perfectly safe for drinking. Hot water can be delivered to your stateroom byHousekeeping at your request.
Disembarkation
34. Bill Settlement / Express Check Out
We suggest settling your account the night before or at least three hours prior to disembarkation Alternatively, you may opt for the “Express Check-out” by completing the necessary forms and handing them to the reception during the cruise for itemized billing to be sent to the cabin.
Cruisers are encouraged to use this facility for a hassle-free disembarkation.
35. Passport Collection
You may collect your passport presenting your Access Card / government photo identity card. If you want to collect passports on behalf of your family and friends, you need to have their Access Cards. Children who have their own passport or identification document and who cannot sign must be accompanied by their guardian / parents.
Details of collection time and venue will be printed in the Star Navigator found in every cabin or at the reception. Please refer for details.
36. Baggage Assistance
Should you require assistance to unload your baggage from the ship, please leave your baggage with name clearly written on the luggage tag outside your cabin door as advised in the disembarkation notice which will be placed in your cabin.
Your luggage will be collected and delivered to the luggage collection area of the respective port of disembarkation.
To make your disembarkation as smooth as possible , guests will be ushered out in staggered groups.
Please gather at your designated waiting area to await your turn to disembark.

2. What’s Included In My Cruise Fare?
Just about everything – your accommodation, meals in designated outlets, entertainment, parties, gala dinner, facilities and many onboard activities are all part of the fare.
3. What’s Not Included In My Cruise Fare?
Optional shore excursions, alternative dining, selected shows / entertainment, items of personal nature such as beverages, telephone calls, facsimile or e-mail services, shop purchases, laundry, beauty treatment, hairdressing and massage services, medical services, port charges, fuel charges, insurance, government taxes, fee and gratuities are not included in the fare.
4. Passage Restrictions (For pregnant woman)
Passage for a pregnant woman will only be permitted before her 24th week of pregnancy at the time of sailing. Children aged 6 months or less at the commencement of the cruise will be refused permission to board the cruise ship.
5. Any Vaccination required?
At the current time, all passenger regardless the vaccination status can travel on board cruise. However, unvaccinated passenger aged 13 and above required to have RTK Test report within 2 days before cruising. However, guests may wish to consult their doctor to make sure their immunization records are up-to-date or if any further vaccinations are required in those countries that are in their cruise itinerary.
6. Is there a dress code?
Smart casual attire is suitable for most occasions. For your dining pleasure as well as for other guests, elegant casual attire is required during dinner at fine dining restaurants such as Genting Dining Room onboard Genting Dream.
7. What Currency are we using?
Most foreign currencies are accepted onboard at prevailing exchange rates. The onboard currency will be that of the Homeport country where the ship is based (e.g. Singapore dollars for cruises out of Singapore, Hong Kong dollars for cruises out of Hong Kong). Most major credit cards (Visa / Master / JCB / Amex / Diners) are accepted.
8. Do I pay every time I spend on board?
No. It’s cashless system on board. Your Access Card functions as a charge card and stateroom key onboard our vessels.
You will be able to use this card onboard when you order any of food and beverage and service outlets as cash is not accepted in any of our outlets.
Please ensure that you sign your name at the back of the card as a verification for Cruise Company and present it to their Service crew when you want to settle your bill.
There is an initial credit limit for your Access Card which may be increased by presenting your credit card for verification at the reception.
Major credit cards (Visa / Master / JCB / Amex / Diners) are accepted with a specified floor limit.
9. How can I control my children spending?
Should you wish to limit or bar the use of your children’s Access Cards for purchases, please have them re-encoded at the reception.
Otherwise, your children may sign for any facilities or purchases, and you will be liable for those charges.
10. What should I do if I lost my access card?
Please report the loss of your Access Card immediately to the reception where a new one will be issued and the former invalidated.
This will prevent any liability for charges incurred on the lost card.
11. Is there any penalty if I lost my access card?
No. The replacement card is free of charged.
12. Physically Challenged Guests
Most areas onboard our vessels are accessible to the physically challenged. There are also cabins for the physically challenged, with wider doorways and larger bathrooms with grab bars and folding shower seats. The ship also provides wheelchairs for emergency purposes.
13. Luggage
For your comfort and convenience, we recommend that each guest take no more than one suitcase and one hand baggage. These must fit comfortably in your cabin as no baggage will be stored in the ship’s hold. Your total baggage weight should not be more than 30kg.
Check-in baggage will be delivered to the respective cabins no later than 60 minutes after sailing. Guests who do not receive the luggage by this time may contact the Concierge onboard.
14. Embarkation Process
14.1 Waiting to check-in
While waiting to check-in, Cruise Staff will check passengers’ passport for validity and visas (if required) as a pre-check-in procedure to expedite the check-in process.
14.2 How to Check in
Please present your passport / government photo ID (MyCard/Mykid) and Confirmation Slip at the counter where you will be given an Access Card. Your Access Card is important as it serves as a boarding pass, cabin key and charge card onboard. Upon receipt of your Access Card, you should sign it immediately like any credit card. Have the relevant immigration forms completed together with your passport during check-in.
14.3 Baggage Check In
Check-in baggage at the counter (please check with Star Cruise Staff if you are not sure the location) and baggage will be delivered to the respective cabins no later than 60 minutes after sailing. Guests who do not receive the luggage by this time may contact the Concierge onboard.
14.4 Boarding
Guests will need to pass through security screening and present their Access card prior to boarding. Those cruising with children may hold their Access Cards on their behalf. As embarkation procedures may change and vary from port to port please follow the directions of the crew and signage to embark the ship.
Upon entering the ship please hand your Access Card to the crew to ‘swipe’ and ‘encode’ your cabin details and record your presence onboard. Please do not walk through without ‘encoding’ as you will not be able to gain access to your cabin. Remember to swipe your access card whenever you leave or enter the ship.

The Cellular@Sea service will automatically shut down when a ship is entering port, and turn on when the ship is at least 12 nautical miles at sea. When connected to Cellular@Sea, GSM phones will either display “WMS”, “CellularAtSea”, “908.18″ or “Nor-18″.
15.3. Cellular Phone Service & Texting at Sea
Freestyle Cellular Service Star Cruises guests can make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, read emails and surf the web on their own cell phones and mobile devices just as they do on land when the ship is at sea, thanks to Wireless Maritime Services’ Cellular@Sea Service. Just check with your cellular phone carrier that your cell phone will be able to roam internationally. Keeping in touch with your friends and family, while at sea, has never been easier.
15.4. How much will I be charged when I use my cell phone onboard?
The rates vary according to your cellular phone carrier and the pricing /roaming plan which you have established with them directly. The charges incurred will appear on your normal mobile carrier’s bill you receive at home. For more information on exact pricing contact your carrier or visit their webpage.
15.5. Can my family call me onboard?
Yes, Cruises guests can also be contacted on our ships by calling the guest’s cell phone number. The service works just as it does on land. If the party does not answer, a voice message can be left on the phone and later retrieved by the guest.
